Technical Support Specialist

Tabletop Simulator is looking to hire a technical support specialist with extensive experience creating and playing in Tabletop Simulator. This position will be customer focused, answering a range of technical to non-technical problems for customers through multiple communication channels. The right person will possess fantastic social skills and writing skills and a genuine desire to help customers work through multi-faceted problems. This person should be able to convey complex fixes to both the technically advanced and non-technical user. The ideal candidate will have worked in technical customer service previously.

This is a remote contract position with incredibly flexible hours. This position will be able to make their own schedule while earning market competitive compensation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of how Tabletop Simulator works, especially in mod creation
  • Excellent problem solving skills and critical thinking to pinpoint the customer issues and work with them to find a solution
  • Equal ability to explain complex technical fixes as well as simplified and easy to understand explanations for the non-technical user to implement
  • Great written communication skills in English where they can effectively able to convey instructions and ask the questions needed to discover the source of customer problems
  • An independent, self starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and enjoys coming up with creative solutions

Bonus:

  • Beneficial to have TTS scripting experience in LUA
  • Multilingual
  • Experience working in technical customer service positions in the past
  • The ability to work in multiple time zones

UX Design Expert

Tabletop Simulator is looking to hire a UX design expert who wants to own the process from start to finish. This will be a long term project ideal for someone who can translate their design concepts into a tangible output. Work on this project will mainly utilize Unity’s UI Toolkit so advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS are a must, bonus points for those who also know how to code. You ideally have led large UX projects that involved you in all steps in the process including but not limited to: identifying pre-existing problems, researching what the user base wants, designing and iteratively creating mockups, and then translating those into high quality, user friendly interfaces.

Requirements:

  • Extensive front- end development with an expertise working in CSS and HTML
  • Experience designing easy to use interfaces with options for advanced functionality including 2D assets for the interface
  • An independent, self starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and enjoys coming up with creative solutions to user pain points
  • High-level knowledge of visual design and front-end development
  • Understands how to create a user friendly interface that appeals to both technical and non technical consumers
  • You have a deep understanding of user-centered design (UCD)

Programmer

Tabletop Simulator is looking a programmer with extensive experience in Unity and C#. This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining clean and reliable code that touches all steps of the pipeline in game development. They are experts in fundamentals such as object oriented programming and tool development experiences that are achieved through clean and iterative code. Ideally this candidate has experience with network programming and has shipped video games. This person has the opportunity to make significant contributions in frequent releases through updates.They will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall roadmap of Tabletop Simulator both through literal implementation as well as strategic planning.

This is a remote contract position with incredibly flexible hours allowing the person to make their own schedule while earning market competitive compensation.

Requirements:

  • Must be an expert working in C# and Unity across the entire pipeline
  • An independent, self starter who thrives coming up with creative solutions to user pain points in ambiguous environments with a remote and distributed team
  • Possesses the ability to design, create, and maintain clean and reliable code
  • Working experience creating and shipping games
